Built for you, not for your data.
Why this app exists
I built Sober Days after trying every tracker app I could find — and running into the same wall each time. They pushed a subscription, put my own progress behind a paywall, and somewhere in the small print, gave themselves permission to "improve the product" with my data. I just wanted to count my days.
So I built the simplest honest thing I could: you sign in, then the app lives on your phone — it doesn't mine your data, and it quietly counts what you're building. That's it. That's the whole idea.
What we're here to do
Sober Days exists to make the first step — and every step after it — feel as light as possible. No judgment, no shame, no paywall on your own progress. Just a garden that grows when you do, milestones that celebrate how far you've come, and tools for the hard moments.
We believe recovery is personal. The app gets out of the way and lets you lead.
Our privacy promise
All your tracking — your days, your mood, your garden — stays on your device. Your account is only there to sign you in; we don't receive your check-ins and we don't sell them. If you delete the app, that data goes with it.
We don't track usage, we don't sell anything, and we don't run ads. The app is free because we want it to be useful — not because we're building a data business on the side.
